Partner route
Becoming a Utility Warehouse Partner
Independent guide by Scott McCaw, authorised UW Partner. View his official UW profile.
Who it suits
The Partner route is Scott's main focus. It can suit people from many backgrounds, including:
- Work-from-home mums and other parents who want work that fits around family life
- People who enjoy organic TikTok or social media and want to share what they do
- Experienced door-to-door energy and broadband salespeople
- Venue and charity venue salespeople
- Recruitment consultants
Two sides of the Partner opportunity
Customers: building relationships with households and helping them move their services to UW.
Building a team: finding, recruiting and supporting other Partners. Experienced salespeople and recruitment consultants may be especially well suited to this side, as well as to customer work.
Neither side is guaranteed to work for everyone. Results depend on your effort, your approach and UW's conditions.
What a Partner actually does
You speak with friends, neighbours and local contacts about their household bills, check whether UW would suit them, and help them sign up. Some Partners also introduce other people to the opportunity and support them. There's no stock, and UW handles billing and customer service.
Training and support
UW provides its own structured training and tools. Scott adds a starter pack, a personalised starting plan, sales training and help with your first 10 calls. See what Scott's support covers.
Costs
UW's official Partner page currently states a £10 one-off joining fee and £3 per month from month four. Fees are paid to UW, not to this site.
Income is variable
UW says qualifying Partner upfront payments can reach up to £300, subject to its conditions (for example, which services a customer takes). Many Partners earn modest amounts, and some earn nothing. We don't publish income projections. Read the realistic earnings guide.

UW explains how Partners earn by helping households bring services such as energy, broadband, mobile and insurance together with UW. Upfront payments depend on the customer qualifying, for example being a homeowner taking several core services, and ongoing income depends on the customers you keep. UW's page currently states a £10 one-off joining fee, with a £3 monthly fee from your fourth month. What you earn depends on your effort and is never guaranteed. This summary is our own, not UW's words.

Partner route only
More than commission
Active UW Partners can work towards more than customer commission. Each benefit depends on UW's current criteria, and results vary. None is an automatic reward for joining, and they are not Connector benefits.
Customer commissions and ongoing income
Earn from the customers you introduce, including ongoing income while they stay with UW.
Activity bonuses
Extra bonuses for reaching activity targets set by UW.
Qualifying UW vehicle plan
Partners who meet UW's criteria may qualify for a UW vehicle plan.
Holidays and other incentives
UW runs incentives that change over time, such as trips and events.

Scott has attended UW incentive trips to Tenerife and Greece, as well as Forest Holidays.
This is Scott's own experience. UW's incentives change over time, and eligibility and availability depend on the current terms.

About Utility Warehouse
The company behind the opportunity
Utility Warehouse (UW) is a UK provider that brings energy, broadband, mobile and insurance together in one bill. Partners and Connectors introduce households to UW's services; UW supplies the services, handles billing and customer service, and pays any earnings under its own terms.
